Instrumentation Technician Senior
The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our Airport Water Reduction Facility (AWRF) team as an Instrumentation Technician Senior. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to perform skilled technical, maintenance, troubleshooting, programming and calibration, installation and repair work on instrumentation and process control equipment to include but not limited to electrical, electronic, communications systems (radios, networking, fiber optics, etc.), hydraulic and pneumatic meters, programable logic controllers, HVAC systems, analyzers, equipment, recording and control systems/SCADA in various locations throughout the city.

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to provide high-level expertise in technical support and development of process control procedures to increase the efficiency of water and wastewater treatment plants and distribution system operations. Qualified candidates will have experience with testing and sampling to assist with special projects for operational-based improvements of treatment plants and distribution systems. The Regulatory Affairs Senior Analyst will manage data and processes related to compliance and noncompliance. Data analysis and presentation of findings to operations, maintenance, and regulatory teams is a crucial component of this position. Providing support and effectively communicating conclusions and recommendations on data analysis findings.

We are looking for someone to supervise staff who maintain and repair city streets, rights-of-ways, alleys, storm drain systems, retention basins, parking lots, pavement preservation, and other related concrete features in compliance with applicable regulations and specifications, as well as respond to hazards. Duties include supervision of daily operations of the assigned areas by setting goals and objectives, managing schedules and work priorities, monitoring and evaluating performance, facilitating access to resources and training, performing site visits, managing contracts, providing guidance and addressing complex issues, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
