Water Audit Senior Technician
The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Water Audit Senior Technician. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to assist with water auditing projects and the City's water conservation program, including investigating, verifying, and maintaining meters and providing technical assistance and information concerning the City's water conservation program. This position will also provide support for metering services by responding to service order requests, checking and replacing aged, stopped, or damaged meters, and assisting with meter reading. This position will assist by dispatching calls for service, and data logging/analyzing meter read information as part of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. May assist with basic meter and AMI equipment testing and maintenance.

We are looking for someone to supervises and oversees the daily operations of the assigned areas by setting goals and objectives, manages schedules and work priorities, monitors and evaluates performance, facilitates access to resources and training, performs site visits, manages contracts, provides guidance and addresses complex issues, conducts interviews and makes hiring decisions.

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to perform the full range of semi-skilled and skilled operational work in a wastewater treatment facility including monitoring, operating and adjusting equipment. We have an open in OWRF and another opening in AWRF. If hired, we have programs that can be completed, providing the ability to promote to a Utility Plan Operator II and a Utility Plant Operator III.

This position will have a significant focus on utility locating and marking.

We are looking for someone to provide a full range of project management services for capital improvement projects and the use of a full range of professional engineering principles and practices in areas such as civil, structural, water resources, traffic, or contract administration; planning, developing, programming, design, and implementing projects. Our new team member will be able to negotiate and administer multiple contracts, provide technical reviews of designs and estimates, and coordinate with other agencies and utility companies. This classification is distinguished from other engineering work by the requirement for an Arizona Licensed Professional Engineer designation.
