Human Resources Principal Analyst

The City of Chandler Human Resources Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Human Resources Principal Analyst. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for some with advanced professional HR generalist experience. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high functioning analyst team with a primary focus of classification & compensation, labor relations support and project-based work. This position will also provide support in other functional areas, such as recruitment & selection and employee relations.

Lifeguard I/II

The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Lifeguard I or Lifeguard II. Chandler Aquatics is seeking responsible, self-motivated and energetic Lifeguards to join our team. We are looking for someone with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies along with the knowledge and skill set to instruct our Learn-To-Swim classes ranging in age from 6 months to adults. The ideal candidate will be passionate and dedicated about water safety and the well-being of our guests and teach participants how to swim in a fun and creative environment.

The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Lifeguard I or Lifeguard II. Parks Maintenance Worker

The City of Chandler Community Services Department Parks Division is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Parks Maintenance Worker. This is a regular full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration with experience in grounds maintenance and specific experience in maintaining athletic fields. Essential functions include:

  • Performs litter control of all areas of parks to include playgrounds, field areas and picnic areas.
  • Power washes amenities for cleanliness for park users.
  • Performs hazard checks of park areas, including High-Frequency Playground Inspections.
  • Barricades work areas for public safety.
  • Performs landscaping activities including mowing grass, trimming, weeding, pruning and planting trees and bushes, clearing leaves from hardscapes and preparing paths and courts for use; inspects and reports damaged or dead trees and shrubs; removes dead trees, branches, stumps or dead plants; tills and levels volleyball courts.
  • Oversees and operates medium to heavy equipment to prepare fields for athletic events; lines fields for sporting events; performs landscaping activities such as mowing, aerating, rolling, slicing, top dressing, leveling, seeding, fertilizing, flooding and sodding of fields.
  • Performs basic repairs, maintenance and installation of irrigation systems.
  • May maintain and monitor reclaimed water recharge basins, aeration equipment or lake water levels and performs scheduled flood irrigation.
  • Responds to public inquiries and complaints; provides resources for resolution.

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Utilities Regulatory Affairs Senior Manager. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to supervise, manage and lead the activities and operations of the Water Quality and Wastewater Pretreatment divisions to ensure environmental compliance for the Utility. This position will also be responsible for overseeing fiscal, budgetary and personnel functions as well as goal setting and policy making alongside the Department Director and Assistant Department Director.
