Library Specialist – Bookmobile
The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Library Specialist for our Book Mobile. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for Early Literacy and the ability to work with parents of children aged 0–5. This team member will play a key role in preparing and delivering engaging early literacy programs in the library and throughout the community, including on our brand-new mobile library. A strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and collaboration is essential. Additional responsibilities include evaluating services and materials and applying foundational library standards, procedures, and techniques to support the daily operations of our mobile library. Experience working with Spanish-speaking customers is highly valued.

Recreation Assistant
The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Recreation Assistant for rentals at the Tumbleweed Recreation Center. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are seeking a candidate with experience working in a team environment, skilled in setting up and breaking down events or facilities, and capable of working independently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: room setup and cleanup; educating renters and facility guests about policies and enforcing them; assisting renters with AV and technical issues; maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and equipment; reporting any issues to supervisors; supporting Guest Services; and preparing materials for programs such as crafts and equipment. The Recreation Assistant will also provide support for other programs, including the birthday party program, complete assigned task lists, and assist with ad-hoc duties as needed. Additionally, the Recreation Assistant will be responsible for opening and closing the facility for renters at the start and end of rental periods, ensuring the facility is empty and secure.
