Police Chief

The City of Chandler Police Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as Chief of Police. Reporting to the Assistant City Manager, the Police Chief leads the Police Department and its staff in the delivery of public safety services to those who live in, work in, and visit Chandler. Some of the essential functions of the Chief of Police include providing leadership and strategic direction through planning, managing and directing all operations of the Police Department; facilitating department fiscal and personnel resources; serving as a technical advisor and subject matter expert to Chandler residents, the City Manager, City Council, City departments and stakeholders; and serving as the City’s spokesperson in highly sensitive, complex, or emergency situations.
